The Standing Group on the European Union welcomes applications for co-financing the annual ECPR Standing Group Summer School Grant for the incoming academic year 2013-4.
The ECPR Standing Group Summer School Grant is designed to contribute towards costs associated with organizing summer schools run by Standing Groups. A maximum of £4,000 (or Euro equivalent) per summer school can be applied for. This maximum amount is based on the Summer School consisting of at least 10 teaching days. If summer schools are shorter than this, the grant would be paid on a pro rata basis. The grant would be dependent upon receipt of a proper report and evidence that the summer school is running well. There are no restrictions on the use of the grant as long as it serves to make the organisation of the summer school possible, but the ECPR’s auditors will require documentation to support expenditure.
The SGEU Steering Committee will select an application and officially sponsor it before the ECPR. It will also offer a grant that will match ECPR contribution. The support from SGEU is for organisational or travel cost and/or fee waivers for participants.
If you would like to apply for funding for your 2014 Summer School, please complete this SG SS grant application form and forward it to the ECPR SGEU () by 27 October 2013, specifying in the title of the email ‘ECPR-SG SS application’.
